Spring Morning Routine

One of my very first posts was about my skincare routine, but as seasons and some products change I decided to share my morning, spring routine! Pretty simple with just 5 key products before my makeup routine. See below for my go to products for this season!

captureStep 1 – First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser, I use this cleanser twice a day. It is so gentle on my skin and one of the few cleansers that don’t make me red. I only use cold water in the morning, I don’t want my pores open when I put on my makeup! I start every morning with brushing my teeth then this cleanser.

Step 2 – Supergoop! SPF 30 Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum, I picked this up recently during my last Sephora haul. It makes my skin feel baby soft and I am obsessed with sunscreen (which if you have not noticed yet you will come to find). I put just a pea sized amount all over and let it complete absorb before moving on my next step!

Step 3 – Cetaphil Dermacontrol Moisturizer SPF 30, yup, more sunscreen! This moisturizer is perfect for me. I get pretty oily especially with most SPFs, this one doesn’t do that. It’s calming and doesn’t make me breakout at all. All while being gentle and looking great alone or under makeup. I use a small amount and let it completely absorb into the skin.

fileassetStep 4 –The Organic Pharmacy Lip & Eye Cream, I received this in my Feburary Ipsy Bag, got to love Ipsy! Lip cream not so much, but as an eye cream, it’s great! It is really moisturizing and doesn’t crease throughout the day! When my Ipsy size is out I will be purchasing a full-size most likely! Unless I finish my quest of finding my perfect eye cream before then.

Step 5 – Mario Badescu Facial Spray and for my final step, I use my absolute most favorite facial spray. This is honestly one of my favorite beauty products, I use it to finish off my morning, makeup, and night routine. It’s the most refreshing final step. I keep one of these bottles at home, at my desk, and in my car. If you take away anything from this let it be that you NEED this spray, and for only $7 it is a steal.

  1. Thanks for sharing! I’m definitely interested in finding a moisturizer with SPF, but I’m always nervous about how my sensitive skin will react… Cetaphil might be a good one for me to try! ^_^
Also, I just signed up for ipsy a few weeks ago and can’t wait to get May’s bag!! 😍 Glad you’re loving the eye cream.
Might be a dumb question, but what is facial spray for?
