Winter Self Care Routine

With how absolutely crazy the past couple of months have been for me this December I’m trying to really focus on my own self care along with some new goals. 

Here is my current/ planned self care routine for the rest of the month:










Two masks that I have been testing are the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask and the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor. Every other day I use one, I will be writing full reviews for both soon. So far I love the oatmeal mask it is so calming in the harsh winter air, and the pore extractor keeps my t-zone squeaky clean.



I recently got a Fitbit Charge 2 and I am so happy with it, it literally reminds me to get up and walk when I get in the zone at work and sit forever just typing away. For my own mental health on top of my current workout routine I am trying to walk 10,000 steps a day. Taking a quick break at the office for a 10 minute walk has done so much for my stress levels.



The other nice thing that the Fitbit does is track my sleep, I realized I was only getting about 5 hours – yikes! Luckily I have changed my routine to begin to average over 7 hours a night. I create the ideal nighttime routine for me by using a silk pillow case, oil diffuser, and a consistent bedtime. Really focusing on getting enough sleep has been so important for me.



I recently picked up the Living Proof Restore Conditioner to help combat my dry split ends, I have really liked it so far and will be giving a full review later.
